About Trena H. Peckham, MS
Marriage & Family Counseling/Therapy
Highly motivated and compassionate, Trena specializes in couples and family counseling, helping individuals and families overcome distress in relationships and find joy and fulfillment through positive family functioning.
She values the family as a fundamental unit of society that provides crucial connections for basic human health and emotional wellbeing. While honoring the difficulty in establishing an environment that nurtures loved ones in their journey through struggles and hardships, she believes everyone has innate values that provide both strength and opportunities for growth.
Acting as both a confidant and a companion, Trena aims to walk alongside her clients through their darkness where they can make sense of their lived experiences and create a more desirable outlook.
Trena has extensive experience working with military families, as well as developing and delivering programs for Navy Family Services, community churches, schools and various corporations to assist individuals and families in coping with life's difficulties.
Trena holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy from Capella University. Trena is recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Alabama and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Idaho.
